Description of Service

Borgger.com allows users to read, post, share, collaborate on and network to make ideas happen. Anybody visiting Borgger can browse and search for ideas (or "threads") posted by other users. A membership is required to post comments, vote on and revise threads, and to network with other users. Membership is free and open to everybody over the age of 13, and can be done so by visiting www.borgger.com. Membership requires a valid email address, a user name and a password. Once a member, users can post their own threads. Threads can be text only or can include rich media, such as streaming video and audio. Users can then apply Creative Commons licensing and open up their threads to comments and revisions from other users, and allow other users to network with them to make their ideas a reality.

What Borgger should be used for:

Posting your (well thought out) ideas about anything.

Adding to other users' ideas with your own thoughts on what would make them a little bit (or a lot) better.

Providing courteous and thoughtful feedback to other users when commenting on a user's thread.

Providing an honest rating on users' ideas, whether you think an idea is good to go or you think it needs some work.

What Borgger can not be used for:

Posting copyrighted content that you do not have permission to distribute.

Posting content containing pornography, offensive (hateful, violent, or otherwise) or excessive material.

Spamming us or, more importantly, Borgger users.

Anything unlawful. Hacking, attempting to transmit a virus, using destructive code, or any other unauthorized use is strictly prohibited. You are bound by local and federal laws when using this web site.

Creative Commons Licensing and Copyright Policy

Borgger does not claim copyright to any threads posted by users of this site, nor do we issue copyright or protect Intellectual Property. With a Creative Commons license, you keep the copyright to your work. The Creative Commons options we have provided can be applied to your threads to both protect your intellectual property and allow for collaboration. If you are not interested in opening a thread to revisions and just want to publicly publish the concept or solicit opinions, select All Rights Reserved when publishing.
